Act IV, Scene iii

Ronan and Maggie try their hand at one of the most beloved scenes in the whole canon, a scene that often plays as perhaps Shakespeare's most vicious spat. They were able to draw on some natural sibling tension, not to mention the pressure that has built up over two months of lockdown, and yet the result here is decidedly more droll than usual -- of course.

Brutus' tent was definitely the high-point (ha!) of this one for the kids. Naturally, they wanted us to leave it up "forever." We barely were able to keep it up long enough to do the scene! In fact, the wind was so bad when we started that it forced us to make this the first Shakespeare Jr! to be filmed over two days.

A big thanks again to Grummy for the costumes, which were even more integral this time than last! And thanks as well to our neighbor Heidi for donating those chairs, although she can't have known to what whimsical uses they'd be put...
