Act I, scene ii

If you thought we were gone, you were wrong... but perhaps just barely. This may well be the swan song of Shakespeare Jr! Production has been consistently slowing down for months now, but it's never taken us anywhere near this long to get one ready. As the Christmas Tree evidences, we filmed this one nearly two months ago! Somehow the editing just wasn't coming together for weeks and weeks, but it's finally done. Better late than never?

If this is where we end, then at least we finally got a history in! Given this is the second scene of the whole play, there's not a whole lot of synopsis necessary.

Basically, Prince Hal, despite being next in line for the throne, is frittering away his talents and privilege in raucous debauchery with the less-than-reputable Falstaff. The two have been drinking and thieving and generally living it up, but Hal is at a point where he needs to start thinking about his political future. Will he step up to the plate and make his titular father proud? Or will Falstaff's temptations prove too irresistible?

If this does prove to be our final production, boy it's been a fun run! The support we've gotten from so many of you in these silly endeavors has meant more than we can say, so thanks for coming along with us for this goofy ride.
